AI Advisory Consultant

What You'll Own

• Deliver core advisory work: produce market research, impact sizing, synthesis, and workshop materials alongside the Principal.
• Run engagements day-to-day: own timelines, trackers, and act as single source of truth; monitor open items across Solutions Engineering and Design; weave technical findings into coherent readouts.
• Build the case ahead of client conversations: develop research and materials for pre-sales; support Principal in vertical thought leadership.
• Turn engagements into reusable knowledge: own debrief notes, findings write-ups, structured hand-offs; contribute patterns to improve playbooks.
• Build AI workflows for efficiency: identify automation opportunities for recaps, tracking, readouts, and materials; implement AI-powered solutions; set up baseline measurements.

Qualifications

• Consultant experience at Tier 1 firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred) with 3+ years of work experience; AI strategy or transformation projects strongly preferred.
• Structured, analytics-driven problem solving; turn ambiguous inputs into clear POV.
• Excellent communication; produce clean, exec-ready drafts with minimal editing.
• Diligence and organization across multiple workstreams; manage trackers under pressure.
• Technical credibility to challenge engineering leads on architecture or accuracy.
• Hands-on with GenAI in daily work with concrete examples of using AI tools to accelerate work.
• Commercial instinct; think in business levers, articulate ROI, spot upsell opportunities.
• Willingness to travel 30-60%.

Nice to Have

• 0-to-1 experience developing or deploying GenAI applications in enterprise settings.
• Exposure to enterprise AI or target verticals (Consumer, Financial & Professional Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences).
• Experience designing and synthesizing design-thinking workshops.
