Responsibilities
- Own the e-invoicing product vision and roadmap, translating complex and evolving regulatory requirements into a coherent multi-year strategy.
- Drive expansion across mandated global markets, including France, Germany, Spain, Poland, and Latin America.
- Lead build, buy, and partner decisions to meet compliance deadlines while maintaining long-term product quality.
- Define the end-to-end user journey from onboarding and business identity verification to live invoice transmission via certified networks such as Peppol.
- Collaborate with Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and Connect teams to embed e-invoicing into Stripe's financial infrastructure.
- Establish quality, reliability, and activation metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with GTM, Sales, and Solutions Engineering to position the product for upmarket and enterprise customers.
- Represent Stripe with regulators, certification bodies, and industry partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in a B2B fintech, payments, tax, or compliance-adjacent product domain.
- Deep familiarity with e-invoicing, CTC frameworks, structured invoice formats, and regulatory mandates in Europe and Latin America.
- Strong technical fluency, including API design, data schemas, and network integration architecture.
- Experience conducting build/buy/partner analyses and translating results into roadmap decisions.
- Experience launching products across multiple markets, including localization and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and GTM.
- Clear, direct communication for internal and external audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating third-party technology providers or acquisitions into a core product platform.
- Familiarity with Stripe Billing, Invoicing, or Tax products.
- Experience with Peppol access point certification or integrations with national tax authority platforms such as Chorus Pro or KSeF.
- Exposure to B2B invoicing workflows in mid-market or enterprise contexts.
