Operations Manager, Air
Own customer onboarding and go-live implementation for Athelas Air, translating healthcare workflows into technical specifications and scalable launch processes. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, improves time-to-value, builds Retool tooling, and tracks adoption and launch quality.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end implementation, onboarding, and launch of new customers on Athelas Air.
- Map customer clinical and administrative workflows and translate needs into product requirements.
- Draft functional and technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and interface requirements.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and prioritize development work.
- Develop implementation plans, timelines, and resource allocations for customer launches.
- Lead cross-functional launch teams, status calls, playbook adherence, risk mitigation, deliverables, dependencies, and handoffs.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support.
- Create and improve standardized launch playbooks and templates for data migration, configuration, training, and go-live support.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce time-to-launch and improve launch quality.
- Build and maintain internal Retool applications, dashboards, reports, and workflow tools.
- Facilitate hypercare support during and after go-live and track issue-resolution SLAs.
- Monitor and report adoption metrics, including login rates, documentation volume, and billing task completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Approximately 2–5 years of operations or project management experience in SaaS or HealthTech.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs to successful, on-time, in-scope delivery.
Nice-to-haves
- MBA or another advanced degree.
- Experience with healthcare workflows, EHR implementations, customer onboarding, or launch operations.
- Experience building internal operational tools with Retool.
