Senior Air Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end airfreight operations in alignment with company strategy, global policies, and customer requirements.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for shipment exceptions, resolving issues with urgency and sound judgment.
• Coach and mentor team members to ensure SOP compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain data accuracy and timely milestone updates across Flexport systems to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee billing accuracy and cost control, resolving invoice disputes promptly and effectively.
• Monitor and review vendor and carrier performance, providing constructive feedback and actionable solutions.
• Support strategic initiatives, including carrier integrations, client onboarding, and system or process upgrades.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.
• Supervise a small team of associates and foster collaboration across departments.
• Act as squad lead when required and build capabilities for future leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of air freight processes, including import and export handling.
• Fluency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
