About the job

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound questions and requests from insurance brokers and current policyholders via email, live chat, and occasionally phone.
  • Coordinate assistance from underwriting, business development, security, and claims teams.
  • Educate brokers about Coalition’s cyber insurance products and online quoting platform.
  • Perform administrative insurance functions, including entering manual submissions, providing Certificates of Currency, and processing policy date changes.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement organizational and product changes that mitigate customer pain points.

Requirements

  • Prior customer support or customer service experience, or a strong desire to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in broker-facing or comparable channel-sales roles.
  • Resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work in a startup environment.
  • Positive attitude and interest in developing a career in insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Zendesk.
  • Prior insurance experience.
