About the role

What You'll Do

  • Set the web product vision and roadmap for postman.com and related web properties, defining how they work together as a portfolio, which audiences and jobs they serve, and where to invest for greatest customer and business value.
  • Expand product discovery and top-of-funnel reach by creating new ways for people to discover Postman's full product suite, capabilities, use cases, and solutions; identify underserved audiences and high-potential entry points and turn them into intuitive, scalable web experiences.
  • Own the most important web journeys by mapping and improving end-to-end paths from first visit through evaluation and entry into the product; reduce friction, clarify value, and ensure coherent handoff between public web and authenticated product.
  • Build a trusted analytics and attribution foundation by partnering with Data and Engineering to define instrumentation, event taxonomy, source and campaign attribution, identity stitching, funnel reporting, and decision-quality dashboards.
  • Lead privacy-aware measurement with a strong point of view on first-party and third-party cookies, consent management, browser restrictions, data retention, and regional privacy requirements; balance measurement quality, user trust, and compliance.
  • Make technical search optimization a product capability by owning the product strategy for technical search (agent) engine optimization, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, rendering, structured data, internal linking, redirects, canonicalization, and large-scale content or domain migrations.
  • Raise the bar for web performance and quality by setting clear standards for page speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, reliability, responsiveness, and cross-browser behavior; work with Design and Engineering to make craft and performance reinforcing priorities.
  • Lead through influence by bringing together senior partners across Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and SEO; communicate strategy, decisions, results, and learning to executive audiences.
  • Build for a global audience by developing a thoughtful approach to internationalization and localization for performance across markets, languages, and regional customer needs.

About You

  • Staff-level product leadership: 8+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of customer-facing web products or digital experiences at scale; experience setting strategy, building roadmaps, and delivering measurable results in complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated outcome ownership: Can point to web experiences personally led that materially changed customer behavior or business performance, explaining the problem, strategic choices, tradeoffs, shipped solution, measurement approach, and resulting impact.
  • Deep web product expertise: Understand how modern websites are designed, built, rendered, served, measured, and evolved; partner credibly on content management systems, front-end architecture, server-side and client-side rendering, content delivery networks, release workflows, and technical dependencies.
  • Strong technical search and agentic optimization fluency: Hands-on experience using information architecture, technical SEO, and AEO to improve discovery at scale; understand implications of URL design, site hierarchy, internal linking, structured data, crawl budgets, rendering, redirects, canonicalization, and indexation.
  • Web performance expertise: Understand page performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and reliability as product concerns; know how performance affects discovery, experience, and outcomes; make informed tradeoffs with Engineering and Design.
  • Measurement, cookies, and attribution fluency: Understand browser and cookie behavior, consent management, first-party data, anonymous and authenticated identity, tag management, attribution limitations, and privacy-aware analytics; diagnose gaps in measurement.
  • Experimentation and quantitative judgment: Fluent in funnel analysis, experiment design, guardrail metrics, statistical interpretation, and post-launch learning; know when to test and how to connect experiments to larger product strategy.
  • Exceptional product judgment: Move between long-term strategy and detailed execution, identify key decisions, and balance customer value, business value, technical complexity, brand craft, and speed.
  • Cross-functional gravity: Align competing senior stakeholders on what will ship and why; influence without formal authority and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer empathy for technical audiences: Curious about developers, technical teams, and how they evaluate and adopt tools. Experience with developer products, APIs, B2B software, or product-led growth is strongly valued.
