Staff Product Designer
Leads end-to-end product design for AI-powered legal and professional-services products, translating complex workflows into intuitive experiences. The role requires 8+ years of product design experience, strong interaction and visual design skills, research expertise, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end product experiences, from initial concept through polished execution.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.
- Shape and refine the design system to ensure a cohesive and scalable visual language across the product.
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points and opportunities, applying insights to design decisions.
- Develop prototypes to explore and validate new features, workflows, and interactions.
- Champion a high design bar and help the team make thoughtful, intentional decisions at every step.
- Promote and develop best practices in designing with AI.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing products in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating your best work.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges and transform them into simple, intuitive experiences.
- Ability to move between detailed design work and big-picture thinking while maintaining a high pace of execution and quality.
- Deep understanding of design systems and strong visual and interaction design skills.
- Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills for articulating design concepts and rationale.
Compensation and Benefits
- Founding member of the Toronto team.
- Structured hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in the Toronto office and 2 days working from home.
- May be eligible for the Harvey Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
- May be eligible for annual refresh equity grants.
