Velocity Account Executive
Closes net-new business from inbound early-stage startups via full sales cycle including demos and 14-day pilots. Targets technical buyers like developers and CTOs; requires 3+ years SMB/mid-market SaaS closing experience in startups.
Responsibilities
- Manage a primarily inbound funnel
- Run the full sales process: Disco -> Demo -> 2 week trial -> Close
- Run technical demos
- Convert qualified prospects into customers
- Manage a 14-day pilot program
- Advise technical buyers on best practices
Qualifications
- Based in San Francisco
- 3+ years of closing experience in SMB or Mid Market SaaS
- Previous experience selling to technical buyers (Developers, Head of Eng, Head of Product, CTO)
- Previous startup experience (ideally Seed, Series A, or Series B)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and proactive
- Coachable and willing to learn

Compensation
- $200K OTE (50/50 base and commission split)
