Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement closing and post-closing workflows, SOPs, SLAs, checklists, and QC measures for high-quality loan closing and delivery.
  • Access and enhance closing/post-closing systems for smooth file flow, quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with fulfillment partners for consistent loan delivery.
  • Define and monitor productivity standards and performance goals (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Conduct second-level reviews, handle exceptions/escalations for quality control and on-time funding.
  • Hands-on pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting obstacles for seamless closings.
  • Collaborate with loan officers to resolve closing/post-closing issues.
  • Act as SME for decision-making and product improvement.
  • Provide technical/guideline training and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain understanding of mortgage closing/post-closing regulations for compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in closing/post-closing processes and managing teams across Conventional, Jumbo, NON-QM, GOVT loans (purchase/refinance).
  • Proven track record developing workflows, training materials, SOPs, SLAs, QC measures.
  • Proficiency configuring closing/post-closing systems for efficiency, quality, compliance.
  • Proven leading decentralized teams.
  • Experience managing strategic third-party fulfillment partners.
  • Fintech mortgage product experience strongly preferred.
