Techincal Account Manager - AMER
Technical Account Manager acts as post-sales technical liaison for Redis customers, driving onboarding, support, optimization, and upsell opportunities. Requires 3+ years pre/post-sales engineering experience, hands-on cloud/Linux skills, and strong customer relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Support the post-sales process by understanding clients’ needs and Redis technological platform.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and become their trusted advisor.
- Drive technical aspects of clients’ revenue performance optimization.
- Serve as technical and product expert for clients.
- Identify and upsell new revenue opportunities.
- Onboard new customers to Redis platform.
- Provide Enhanced Enterprise Support and act as liaison for technical issues.
- Collaborate across Redis to streamline product delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in pre/post sales engineering (ideally database engineering).
- Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux.
- Practical hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships.
- Strong technical skills to assess customer needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree from a University (preferably in Computer Science).
Nice-to-Haves
- Proficiency with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with NoSQL databases or distributed caches.
