About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market expansion by developing and executing sales strategies in the public safety sector.
  • Build trusted partnerships with emergency communication centers, city agencies, and state-level decision-makers.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving procurement, IT, and operational leads.
  • Serve as customer advocate, collaborating with product and implementation teams.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and expand usage across departments or regions.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, procurement, and industry feedback.
  • Represent company at conferences, webinars, and industry groups.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in public sector SaaS sales, ideally SLED market, exceeding quota.
  • Deep knowledge of public safety tech: NG9-1-1, Call Handling Equipment, CAD systems, ECC workflows.
  • Experience selling $50K–$250K+ deals in procurement-heavy cycles.
  • Network in emergency communication centers, PSAPs, public safety agencies.
  • Excellent executive communication for stakeholders from dispatch leads to CIOs.
  • Strategic thinking, self-direction, scalable sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel 50%.
