Strategic Account Executive 3
Lead relationships with enterprise Communications platform customers in Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences. Drive analytical, consultative sales cycles to protect and grow Twilio's messaging, voice, and email business.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences customer accounts
- Develop, drive, and execute account strategy to deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results
- Partner with other teams to identify new revenue opportunities within the account portfolio
- Serve on a cross-functional account team with representatives from product, finance, support, and services teams
- Run a disciplined forecast, consistently achieve goals, and present guidance to executive management
- Run highly consultative sales cycles with largest customers, focusing on deep discovery and championing customer needs
- Generate and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast utilizing Salesforce
- Establish as a trusted subject matter expert and share industry updates with the GTM sales organization
Requirements
- 5 years of sales experience, with minimum 3 years in mid-market, major account or strategic sales
- Expertise in managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions
- Accountable for relationship management, cross sells, upsells and solutions consulting
- Comfortable working with business and highly technical leaders
- Analytical account development strategy using data to find opportunities and prove value
- Track record of managing business forecasts and financial models
- Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite to define process and build programs
- Record of delivering revenue and gross profit results for large-scale and enterprise customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
Nice-to-Haves
- Deep experience working with telecom companies, including CPAAS, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms
- Domain expertise from highly quantitative industries such as DevOps, Fintech, Health & Life Sciences, advertising optimization, investment banking, security or commodity trading
- Software, SaaS, CPaas or PaaS selling experience
- Experience leading complex opportunities with Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences industry customers
