About the role
Impact You'll Have
- Build next-generation observability platforms supporting billions of active time series and processing petabytes of logs daily.
- Manage infrastructure across nearly a hundred cloud regions, enabling monitoring of product reliability.
- Develop advanced workflows for incident diagnosis using Databricks' data intelligence platform.
- Uplevel monitoring and reliability practices across engineering with opinionated tools for logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and oncall rotations.
- Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence.
What We Look For
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of production-level experience in Go, Python, Java, Scala, Rust, C++, or similar.
- Experience in software development for large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience driving large projects involving multiple teams.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with observability infrastructure, monitoring patterns, and reliability practices.
