About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post routine journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to US GAAP
  • Execute bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, accrued expenses, intercompany accounts)
  • Maintain fixed asset subledger, recording additions, transfers, and disposals
  • Assist AP function: enter vendor invoices, verify approvals, reconcile vendor statements
  • Determine month-end accruals, focusing on significant vendors
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for Real Estate Partners per contractual agreements
  • Prepare basic accruals and schedules for complex close procedures
  • Complete indirect tax filings
  • Support Tax team by gathering data for tax filings per Tax Code requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Professional accounting experience and CPA candidate
  • Proactive desire to acquire accounting experience and drive process improvements
  • Strong communication skills to engage across functions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume processes
  • Strong analytical skills and collaborative team approach
  • Interest in leveraging technology and AI tools to streamline processes

Compensation

  • Base salary: $70,000 - $80,000 USD annually
  • Total compensation may include healthcare, 401(k), disability coverage, life insurance, stock options, bonuses
