Sr. Director, Enterprise - Retail Vertical - Strategic Accounts
Lead and scale a team of Strategic Enterprise Account Executives focused on retail vertical accounts, driving quota attainment and expanding Databricks usage across enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead, grow and inspire Strategic Enterprise Account Executives to achieve and overachieve team quota
- Instill a culture of teamwork focused on leading with measurable business value and customer outcomes
- Develop trust-based relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term success
- Drive ongoing learning of continuous innovation in data intelligence and GenAI solutions
- Actively participate in regional growth plans, ensure forecast accuracy, and build a customer-focused, durable, high-growth business
Requirements
- 5+ years of successfully building and leading high-growth sales teams serving enterprise customers
- Experience in Big Data, Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), Analytics, or AI spaces
- History of exceeding quota in hyper-growth enterprise technology companies
- Understanding of value selling and sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of Message)
- Knowledge of developing partner ecosystems to grow strategic enterprise territories and ensure customer success
- Strong Retail industry experience preferred
- Proven track record of leading teams focused on enterprise territories and driving consumption
Compensation
- Total compensation package includes eligibility for annual performance bonus and equity
- Pay range: $440,000–$605,000 USD (non-commissionable roles) or on-target earnings (commissionable roles)
