Software Engineer - Workflows

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features. You will think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it relates to the overarching privacy goals of our customers.
• Ship production-ready code. You will know what tests to write, what to log, what metrics to capture, what alerts to set up.
• Work across the stack to deliver features: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Proactively fix production and development issues. Use these experiences to accelerate your growth as an engineer.

Who you are

• You have less than 2 years of experience in software engineering.
• You take charge of your own professional and technical learnings. You know when to ask for help, and when to try to solve a problem on your own. You strike a good balance between learning how something works deeply and getting a task done. You actively seek feedback from others to improve your own work.
• You're able to identify trade-offs and take them into consideration when making decisions. You care about business impact and prioritize projects accordingly. You're not just going after the latest cool tech – you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
• You enjoy & are effective at async and online methods of communication. Our team is remote, so the ability to clearly and thoughtfully communicate despite the space and time barriers is very important.

Compensation Information

Our comprehensive compensation packages play a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to bringing data rights to everyone. The compensation pay range represents our reasonable expectation for this role. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location. This specific range applies to Tier 1 labor markets like the SF Bay Area and New York City; it may be adjusted based on the labor market in other geographic areas and the individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. USA Pay Range $125,000—$140,000 USD
