Senior Accounting Manager to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting operations for a multi-entity blockchain company. Requires 8+ years accounting experience in high-growth tech/SaaS environments and strong US GAAP knowledge.

About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and reclasses
- Support financial reporting across multiple entities, including consolidation, monthly close packages, variance analysis, investor reporting, and audit preparation
- Assist with tax requests from outside tax firm
- Drive improvements in accounting systems and integrations
- Assist with technical accounting research and process documentation, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting
- Aid in strategic projects such as post-merger balance sheet, multi-entity consolidations, and ERP readiness initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to improve billing operations and customer balance workflows
- Calculate the financial impact of blockchain transactions within the General Ledger
Requirements
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including time in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or tech environments
- 2 years in public accounting; CPA is a plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP with hands-on experience managing general ledger and close processes
- Proficiency with accounting systems like QuickBooks and finance tools like Brex, Ramp, Deel, and Stripe
- Experience managing or supporting multi-entity accounting, international operations, or tax compliance a plus
- Takes ownership, communicates clearly, and brings a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to problem solving and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or global remote environment is a plus
- Blockchain experience is a plus, but not required
