About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual sales compensation design process, leveraging data analysis to inform plan structure and business alignment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commission-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Support onboarding and training for new hires on compensation plans and policies.
  • Assist in the administration of sales compensation plans, including monthly processing and ensuring accurate payouts.
  • Ensure compensation programs adhere to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Analyze sales performance data to assess the effectiveness of compensation plans and recommend enhancements to optimize outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate compensation plans and any updates to the sales team, ensuring transparency in how performance is rewarded.
  • Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure commission accuracy and compliance.
  • Own sales analytics and reporting to deliver actionable insights for executive reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales compensation design.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite. Advanced level Excel skills preferred.
  • In depth experience with Salesforce.com required and commissions system required.
  • Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision.
  • Approach and address issues with creative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, disciplined attention to detail, highly organized and thorough.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
  • High energy level and passion in getting the job done right.
