About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily reconciliation of trading positions between internal records, exchange APIs, and custodians, resolving breaks proactively.
- Design and implement control frameworks for new trading products, ensuring readiness for settlement, valuation, and reporting.
- Automate reconciliations and categorizations using SQL and Python/R.
- Prepare accurate regulatory filings (CFTC, SEC) and maintain audit readiness.
- Act as gatekeeper for new product launches, custodians, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Engineering, and Accounting teams.
Requirements
- 6-10 years in Product Control, Middle Office, or Fund Accounting supporting trading/derivatives desks.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and automation.
- Deep knowledge of derivatives (Options, Perpetuals, Swaps, Futures), valuation, and Greeks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder communication.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with digital assets, on-chain data, or DeFi.
- BI tools: Looker, Tableau, Alteryx.
- Certifications: CFA, FRM, CPA.
