Payments Operations Manager, Strategy & Delivery
IC role leading payments operations strategy and delivery for a fintech credit card platform. Own scaling operational infrastructure, driving automation initiatives, and improving cross-functional processes with Product, Engineering, and external partners.
What You’ll Work On
- Scale Operational Infrastructure: Build and evolve the systems, workflows, and processes that power payments operations, keeping pace with growing transaction volume, program complexity and the demands of a maturing business.
- Drive Operational Excellence Through Automation & Tooling: Partner with Engineering to identify high-leverage pain points and build scalable, AI-enabled solutions across the card lifecycle, improving monitoring, exception management, and visibility while reducing manual work and elevating the overall customer experience.
- Build Cross-Functional Systems: Partner across Ops, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Fraud, and external vendors to operationalize new requirements, improve processes, and drive aligned execution across stakeholders at scale.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in strategy & operations, business operations, payments, fintech, consulting, or other operationally intensive environments
- Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives and improving operational processes or systems
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to investigate issues, drive decisions, and measure impact
- Experience working with operational tooling, automation, or systems improvement initiatives
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in payments, card operations, fintech, or banking infrastructure
- Familiarity with card networks, processors, or payment workflows
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected cash compensation: $150,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

Strategy & Execution Manager
Serve as the Strategy & Operations business partner to the EE/Startup leadership team, redesigning high-volume GTM operating models, owning forecasting/territory planning, and building AI-native workflows.
Deal Desk Sales Operations
Manage deal desk approvals, order processing, and Microsoft Marketplace operations to ensure accurate deal execution and revenue outcomes. Requires 5-8+ years in sales/revenue ops at a SaaS company with strong Salesforce and deal structuring experience.
Fraud Operations Manager
Own end-to-end fraud operations: build detection systems, AI workflows, chargeback processes, and response protocols for a high-volume payments platform. Requires 5+ years in fraud/payments risk and experience with Stripe/Adyen tooling.
