About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test full-stack applications using native browser APIs, web servers, and frontend frameworks.
  • Enhance full-stack architecture including deployment, configuration, build systems, component libraries, style guides, and responsiveness.
  • Evaluate and adopt open-source solutions.
  • Optimize user interaction workflows across UI applications.
  • Collaborate with UI experts on user experience and visual design.
  • Work with other teams to improve cross-services APIs.
  • Implement best practices for linting, static typing, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Partner with Product Management to set product goals.
  • Develop understanding of customer problems through stakeholder interaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master's a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years building UI for modern web applications and/or custom UI frameworks at scale.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering and design patterns.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and code optimization.
  • Technical Skills:
    • JavaScript, CSS, HTML (ES6+, CSS levels, HTML5+).
    • 2+ years React; Redux, TanStack, Reselect a plus.
    • 2+ years Node.js for web services, API design, performance, deployment.
    • 2+ years TypeScript, Cypress; Jest, React Testing Library a plus.
    • Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Jenkins a plus.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and UI details.
  • Passion for software development and continuous learning.
