Summary
IT Support Engineer responsible for maintaining internal IT infrastructure, building automation scripts, handling support tickets, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant systems for a healthcare SaaS company.
About the role
Responsibilities
- 25% of your time working with the Internal IT team on new initiatives and projects; 75% of your time maintaining IT Infrastructure and support requests
- Creation, research, analysis, engineering and implementation of internal technical solutions that assist in increased employee productivity and result in better self-serve IT environment
- Analysis and implementation of current security and compliance controls specific to internal IT processes and systems to ensure HIPAA-compliant internal infrastructure
- Read documentation and assist with Single Sign On & software integrations
- Create scripts and automations using programming languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
- Create knowledge base for implemented solutions and provide education to all employees on new processes and technologies
- On-call schedule to support our team members during off hours and weekends
- Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution on employee issues with internal tools
- Maintenance of hardware and software deployed to the infrastructure of the office and workstations
- Aid in onboarding and offboarding responsibilities and procedures
- Connect and communicate with vendors to troubleshoot/implement new hardware and software
- Weekend rotational on-call (1 weekend day every 2 weeks)
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher degree
- 2+ years of experience in IT
- Tech savvy and comfortable with web apps including Slack, Google WorkSpace, Zoom Admin, Okta Admin, Mobile Device Management solutions and Identity lifecycle SaaS
- Experience in technical quality assurance; record and document results and compare to expected results
- Great documentation and communication skills utilizing Notion
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Any technical certifications are welcomed
