Drive new business for Sigma's AI analytics platform by owning a Mid-Market territory of digital native companies. Prospect, manage full sales cycles, and close transformative deals in a high-growth environment.
About the role
Responsibilities
- Own a territory comprised of named digital native companies in the Mid-Market space
- Maintain, create, and update accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce
- Use knowledge of the data and analytics space to interact with a diverse set of businesses in consultative sales
- Own the full sales process — from first call to demo to proposal to proof of concept to contract
- Work alongside a team of motivated reps on a high-functioning, energetic team
- Bring on new customers and develop advocates for Sigma in the business intelligence market
- Engage with partners in the data ecosystem to build pipeline or support specific customer needs and initiatives
- Generate new revenue for a rapidly growing company
- Travel locally to New York and the East Coast ~25% of the time to engage directly with companies
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience closing deals
- Strong prospecting motor (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) — non-negotiable
- Track record of success in pipeline generation and quota attainment
- Must be based in New York City, NY (or willing to relocate)
- Team player, hustler, all-around sales superstar
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the data space (Warehouses, Pipelines, Analytics, etc.)
- Background in high-tech software sales
- Partnership and co-selling experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100k - $130k annually
