Electrical Reliability Engineer
Design, build, and support advanced electrical power systems for data center infrastructure, including distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and troubleshooting. Requires electrical engineering degree and 5+ years experience with power systems and codes.

Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, lighting, UPS units, generators, automatic transfer switches, power monitoring, data/phone distribution, grounding, fire alarm, and lightning protection systems.
- Provide electrical engineering support to facility technicians for troubleshooting existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Perform load flow analysis, electrical equipment evaluation, grounding assessments, and power monitoring for facility systems.
- Ensure equipment interfaces with mechanical and electrical systems within power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Ensure designs conform to applicable codes (NFPA 70E, NEC, NFPA 497, NFPA 101, AFSPCMAN 91-710, IBC) and perform code reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution, switchgear, UPS, and/or generators.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to read power and control schematics and highly technical O&M manuals.
- Experience with VFDs, industrial pumps, MODBUS controls, medium voltage distribution, control panel design.
- Knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
- Ability to multitask, self-motivate, work independently, organize, prioritize, and communicate effectively.
