Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute Uniswap’s institutional strategy, identifying use cases, market structures, partnerships, and adoption pathways.
  • Develop institutional go-to-market motions, including segmentation, positioning, pipeline development, commercial models, and partner success.
  • Source, negotiate, and lead strategic partnerships with banks, asset managers, funds, and other financial institutions.
  • Own institutional growth goals and identify opportunities for volume, distribution, and mutual business success.
  • Translate market signals and institutional customer needs into recommendations for product roadmaps, growth strategy, and partnership priorities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to represent institutional needs, develop business cases, and evaluate requirements for adoption.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Marketing, Finance, and other teams from concept through deal closing.
  • Build executive-level relationships with leaders across traditional finance, fintech, payments, and digital assets.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, strategy, or related roles in fintech, payments, capital markets, or financial infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, high-impact partnerships with large financial institutions or enterprise customers.
  • Experience building a new business, market, customer segment, or go-to-market motion.
  • Strong knowledge of how banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, fintechs, payments companies, and other financial institutions evaluate and adopt technology.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, including strategy development, partner meetings, and negotiations.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate strategic value, customer impact, economics, and execution likelihood.
  • Ability to uncover underlying partner needs and translate external feedback into actionable input for Product and Engineering.
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior leaders at sophisticated financial institutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex market, technical, and commercial concepts.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with crypto, DeFi, tokenization, stablecoins, quantitative trading, or emerging technology infrastructure.
  • Experience working across traditional financial institutions and high-growth technology organizations.
  • Experience building or leading small, high-performing growth teams.
  • Strong network across banks, fintechs, payments companies, asset managers, trading firms, or related financial institutions.
  • Experience bringing a technical or emerging product from an early-adopter market to established enterprise or institutional customers.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time salary: $200,000–$300,000.
  • Eligible employees may receive additional compensation, including tokens, and benefits depending on position type.
