IT Engineer
The IT Engineer will automate Lovable’s internal IT operations using production software and AI agents, covering identity, devices, SaaS, networking, access, and self-service workflows. The role requires 5+ years of IT engineering experience and expertise across enterprise IT platforms, coding, and LLM tooling.

Responsibilities
- Optimize Lovable’s IT stack across identity, devices, SaaS, networking, and access reviews.
- Build AI agents that automatically resolve tier-1 and tier-2 IT requests, including onboarding, access, lost devices, and application provisioning.
- Replace runbooks with automated workflows and self-service tooling.
- Partner with Security and GRC to make least privilege the default and improve auditability.
- Configure integrations, build templates, and establish default tooling that accelerates AI-native work, onboarding, and processes.
- Define modern, AI-native IT practices and document the operating playbook.
- Oversee DNS records, email deliverability, and domain management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, corporate engineering, or platform IT at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience with identity, mobile device management, SaaS lifecycle management, and zero-trust networking.
- Experience with Okta or Entra, Jamf or Intune or Kandji, Tailscale or Cloudflare, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to write production code in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with AI agents and LLM tooling, including function calling and MCP.
- Strong bias toward eliminating manual work through automation.
Nice to have
- Experience building internal developer or employee portals.
- Experience running IT through 10x organizational growth.
