Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications and features using C#, React/Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain server-side logic, infrastructure, APIs, databases, user interfaces, design systems, and libraries.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Deliver functionality during two-week sprints and proactively address potential issues.
• Create and maintain documentation covering features, design decisions, configurations, and other technical areas.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, UX designers, product experts, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with feature scoping and estimation.
• Propose, prototype, and champion technologies and processes that improve integration solutions.
• Mentor software team members and promote quality development patterns and practices.
• Recommend designs, technologies, standards, and best practices that improve delivery, performance, usability, reliability, adaptability, security, and other operational requirements.
• Participate in an evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation for emergency support or special events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer software, computer science, or software development, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience on an agile product team.
• Demonstrated experience with C#, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and Entity Framework.
• Experience collaborating with UX designers to translate designs into working software.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in unit testing.
• Experience working with cloud-native applications.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, adapt to changing project needs, and maintain quality and focus.
• Ability to participate in the team on-call rotation.

Nice-to-Haves

• Authentication technologies such as OIDC, OAuth, or SAML.
• Next.js and Express.js.
• Building pipelines and applying DevOps practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually.
