Responsibilities
- Drive security projects that support business operations and protect customers, the brand, and employees.
- Review security trends and incidents, and implement security controls based on lessons learned.
- Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features.
- Update security policies and procedures.
- Scale detection and response capabilities across environments and systems.
- Track and drive vulnerability remediation across production and corporate environments in partnership with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Support security training and employee awareness of current threats.
- Investigate automated detections escalated for human review.
- Proactively hunt for threats across the environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including serving as incident commander during security incidents.
- Deploy and test security controls across cloud environments and corporate endpoints.
- Automate security operations using Tines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in security roles managing complex cloud environments.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Deep familiarity with cloud security and AWS or Azure services.
- Experience securing Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with AWS security management and monitoring tools, including CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Security Hub, Inspector, and Config.
- Experience implementing and monitoring controls aligned with SOC 2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
- Experience automating security tasks with SOAR tools and/or Python or Go.
- Knowledge of command-line tools, log analysis, common attacks, and Linux and macOS hardening.
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation
- Target salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually.
