Integrations Operations Engineer

Investigates and resolves high-impact financial institution integration issues by developing, deploying, and monitoring code while coordinating with external data partners. Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve high-impact integration issues by writing maintainable, tested code, deploying changes to production, and monitoring for regressions.
  • Prioritize issues based on customer and business impact; scope affected clients, users, and items and help improve the prioritization model.
  • Diagnose issues originating with financial institutions or platforms, package reproducible cases, and drive resolution with external data partners and internal relationship teams.
  • Apply mitigation techniques through internal tooling, configuration changes, and external outreach.
  • Participate in code reviews and own the integrations codebase.
  • Handle internal escalations, provide expertise on integrations, and meet best-effort SLAs for business-critical issues.
  • Triage and audit the integrations backlog while improving team processes and tooling.
  • Occasionally build new integrations with financial institutions or platforms.
  • Rotate through integrations on-call to maintain uptime.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years in a highly technical role, such as software engineering or technical support engineering.
  • Experience developing web services and APIs, or clients and integrations that interface with them.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar issues and identify root causes.
  • Customer-first mindset and empathy.
  • Analytical, data-oriented problem-solving skills, including comfort using SQL or similar tools to analyze impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical teams and external data partners.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Track record of resolving a high volume of technical issues with quality and speed.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity or experience with TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and/or Golang.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $100,800–$120,600.
  • Additional compensation may include equity and/or commission.
  • Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
