Senior AI Engineer - FDE - U.S. Federal Sector
Build and productionize generative AI applications for U.S. federal customers, advise clients, and influence product direction. The role requires extensive data science and machine learning deployment experience, a graduate quantitative degree or equivalent experience, and U.S. security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge generative AI solutions using current techniques to solve customer problems.
- Own production rollouts of customer-facing and internal generative AI applications.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across varied domains.
- Present at conferences and contribute as an internal and external technical thought leader.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
- Communicate and teach technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Travel to customer sites approximately once every 4–8 weeks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience building generative AI applications, including retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent systems, Text-to-SQL, and fine-tuning.
- Expertise deploying production-grade generative AI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
- Extensive hands-on industry data science experience using common machine learning and data science tools.
- Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, statistics, or operations research, or equivalent practical experience.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government Secret clearance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for continuous learning and delivering business value through AI.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Databricks Intelligence Platform.
- Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed data processing.
- Active Secret or higher security clearance.
