Key Responsibilities
- Design compound, end-to-end architectures that orchestrate perception, reasoning, planning, and execution.
- Integrate diverse components (LLMs, retrievers, evaluators, memory systems, and execution agents) into robust, scalable systems.
- Investigate governing principles behind complex system interactions, coordination, information flow, and emergent behavior across multiple agents and models.
- Identify mechanics of robustness, composability, and alignment to establish design language for intelligent systems.
Who You Are / Requirements
- Experience Building with Models, Not Just Building Models: Expertise in compound AI systems, agentic collaboration, and techniques like ensembling, ReAct, graph-of-thoughts.
- Proven Track Record of Research Results: Publications in top journals, Twitter posts, or equivalent.
- Uses AI Every Day: Proficiency with tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, Perplexity to accelerate workflow.
- Strong Programming and Data Analysis Skills: Ability to build prototypes and run experiments.
- Biases Towards Showing vs Telling: Focus on demonstrating AI power today.
Compensation
- Base salary: $150K – $250K (depending on experience, location, level).
