Software Engineer, Integrations

Build and maintain production integrations and agent tools for an enterprise AI workspace platform. The role owns the integration pipeline, develops evaluations and tests, and helps engineers improve integration quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and maintain integrations already in production.
  • Own the integration pipeline from design through shipping and ongoing maintenance.
  • Help other engineers add integrations and improve the team's integration practices.
  • Create evaluations and tests to verify integrations work as expected and detect regressions.
  • Tune tool descriptions to improve performance based on feedback and evaluations.
  • Use AI actively while maintaining accountability for the quality and reliability of shipped work.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping production code.
  • Experience building integrations against external APIs.
  • Experience evaluating agentic systems is ideal; otherwise, familiarity with evaluations, prompt engineering, and tool-description tuning.
  • Ability to execute effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • High agency, rapid learning, and the ability to drive change independently.
  • Experience owning work end-to-end and maintaining a high quality bar.
  • Enjoyment of helping other engineers succeed.

Compensation

  • Candidates based in California, New York, or Washington States: $180,000–$225,000 USD annually.
  • Candidates based elsewhere in the United States: $150,000–$190,000 USD annually.
  • Candidates based in Canada: $215,000–$270,000 CAD annually.
  • Weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in local currency.
  • Full health and dental benefits, including a mental-health budget.
  • RRSP matching, 401(k), or pension scheme.
  • Parental-leave top-up for up to six months.
