Responsibilities

  • Own the full contract lifecycle workflow, from intake and routing to signature collection and storage.
  • Proofread NDAs, vendor agreements, and internal memos, flagging items needing attorney review.
  • Manage the legal team's calendars, regulatory filing deadlines, and compliance milestones.
  • Triage incoming legal requests from across the company, assess urgency, and route them appropriately.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all legal documents and compliance records.
  • Build and improve operational systems including contract trackers, intake processes, and vendor logs.
  • Support senior legal staff with scheduling, document preparation, and confidential communications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal ops or executive assistant role supporting a legal or compliance team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contract workflows and compliance calendars independently.
  • Strong written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail when reviewing or drafting legal documents.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven track record of building or improving operational systems such as filing structures, intake workflows, or contract trackers.
  • Experience supporting senior attorneys or legal executives and handling confidential information with discretion.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience at a crypto or fintech company with exposure to the regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad, or project and documentation tools like Notion.
