Senior Counsel
Senior legal counsel will advise healthcare and clinical-operations stakeholders, lead commercial contracting, and own privacy, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance matters. The role requires 6+ years of legal experience, a J.D., U.S. bar membership, and strong commercial and regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders on legal and compliance matters across healthcare and clinical operations, marketing, privacy, and data governance.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements; develop related playbooks, templates, and escalation guidance.
- Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, templates, and AI-enabled workflows to support efficient decision-making.
- Own and maintain core platform agreements, including provider Terms of Service, privacy notices, and website terms, aligned with product, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Lead day-to-day privacy and HIPAA counseling, including data mapping, privacy-request workflows, minimum-necessary practices, and collaboration with Security on technical controls.
- Partner with the compliance team to advance the healthcare compliance program in alignment with applicable OIG guidance, enterprise risk assessments, and the company’s evolving risk profile.
Requirements
- 6+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts and business counseling.
- J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Experience independently handling complex commercial matters.
- Meaningful experience with privacy and healthcare regulatory matters, including HIPAA/HITECH, data use and sharing, business associate agreements, and privacy requests or incidents.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into strategic, actionable guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to move quickly, identify efficient approaches, and deliver on demanding goals.
