Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure
Build and own Webflow’s corporate cloud foundation, including landing zones, networking, security, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub delivery pipelines, self-service deployment patterns, and observability. The role requires 5+ years of platform or cloud engineering experience and strong AWS, Azure, or GCP expertise.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain foundational shared services, including VPCs, DNS, PKI, and secrets management.
- Own the cloud landing zone, including multi-region connectivity, account and resource structure, tagging standards, and cost-efficient scaling.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines with Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Design self-service code-hosting pathways with templated repositories, visibility standards, branch protection, and CI hooks.
- Design golden-path deployment patterns for static sites, lightweight services, and scheduled jobs.
- Build guardrails through policy-as-code, tagging enforcement, cost controls, and security baselines.
- Develop observability infrastructure for logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Partner with SRE on infrastructure availability, resilience, and performance.
- Manage cloud vendor and tooling relationships, identifying risks and cost issues early.
Requirements
- 5+ years of platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience with ownership of production cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including multi-account architecture.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Experience with GitOps-style delivery pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong networking and security fundamentals, including VPC design, DNS, PKI, and secrets management.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost-management practices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with SRE, security, and developer productivity teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting non-engineering builders, including citizen developers and AI-assisted tooling users, with self-service infrastructure.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base compensation: Zone A $212,500–$255,000; Zone B $200,000–$240,000; Zone C $186,500–$224,000 USD.
