Responsibilities
- Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, Google Cloud, and networking, driving alignment on standards, tooling, and operational patterns.
- Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe cloud infrastructure provisioning and operation.
- Partner with Compute, Infrastructure Security, and Routing teams to embed security, compliance, and reliability guardrails into infrastructure provisioning.
- Drive infrastructure standardization across a multi-cloud environment, improving consistency in cloud networking, compute, and shared platform primitives.
- Lead technical investigations and operational improvements across infrastructure boundaries to resolve systemic issues and scale foundational systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with VPCs, transit gateways, DNS, load balancers, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go or Python, for platform tooling and automation.
- Experience driving cross-team technical initiatives across multiple infrastructure domains.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.
Compensation
- Annual base salary: $186,065–$218,900 USD.
- Additional compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits.
