Senior Software Engineer - Ledger
Senior engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable backend systems for a modern financial ledger. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong coding skills preferably in Go, and expertise with cloud platforms, RPC, relational databases, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance, operations, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver high-impact features and projects.
- Build backend systems and components with a focus on integrity, maintainability, scalability, performance, and stability.
- Own high-visibility features and projects from design through deployment.
- Improve the health and reliability of platform systems.
- Design and implement solutions for a modern ledger that serves as a source of truth for account activity and transactional data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on systems at scale.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Go.
- Experience with interface definition languages such as Protocol Buffers, RPC frameworks such as gRPC, cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
- Ability to build performant, maintainable, and defect-free code.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in financial services or accounting.
- Experience with distributed systems or databases.
- Experience with event-driven systems and messaging brokers such as Redpanda.
- Experience working remotely or at a startup.
