Responsibilities
- Design and deliver blockchain network infrastructure that abstracts blockchain complexity into reliable platform APIs.
- Lead multi-quarter initiatives, including new chain integrations, re-architecture efforts, and data migrations, improving latency, reliability, and cost.
- Define and maintain APIs, SLOs, and observability for owned systems, including on-call responsibilities.
- Partner with product and platform teams to establish data contracts and ship SDKs and platform primitives.
- Build technical expertise across blockchain protocols such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and apply it to simplify cross-chain operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production services in a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience designing, scaling, and maintaining distributed systems handling high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of Golang, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or similar infrastructure technologies.
- Direct experience with blockchain protocols or crypto infrastructure, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, or similar Layer 1/Layer 2 networks.
- Experience decomposing monoliths or legacy architectures into well-bounded microservices with clear API contracts.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Compensation
- Annual base salary: $186,065–$218,900 USD.
- Additional compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits.
