Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on revenue accounting transactions under ASC 606 and related financial reporting requirements.
- Lead quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits related to AR, reserves, and revenue.
- Participate in month-end close activities including cash activity, revenue analyses, booking JEs, account reconciliations, and revenue recognition.
- Manage a small team of Revenue Analysts, review their work, coach for growth, and hire additional analysts as needed.
- Analyze sales transactions in ERP systems for data accuracy and revenue schedule integrity, including revenue allocations.
- Review and validate revenue streams and contract write-ups for ASC 606 compliance.
- Assist with executive-level analytics for internal and external presentations.
- Work cross-functionally with OTC, Business Operations, FP&A, Deal Desk, and Legal.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CA/CPA preferred) with 9+ years experience in similar role at public, high-growth SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with revenue close operations, reconciliations, sales data, customer contracts, and product offerings.
- Deep expertise in ASC 606.
- Experience hiring, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for large data volumes.
- Knowledge of ERP (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
- Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, and business partnering skills.
- Acute attention to detail, organization, time management in fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented.
