Data Analyst II

The Data Analyst II develops dashboards, self-service tools, and ad hoc analyses that help Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams make data-driven decisions. The role requires 4+ years of analytics experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and proficiency with business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create business intelligence solutions, including Looker and/or Hex dashboards, using data visualization and storytelling to enable actionable insights.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and deep dives to investigate business questions, surface trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop self-service data tools and processes that help stakeholders monitor performance and business health.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to identify data sources, enable data pipelines, and support analytical data models for reports and dashboards.
  • Implement and maintain data quality checks for datasets used in dashboards, reports, and analyses.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analyses and reporting.
  • Automate recurring analyses and reporting workflows using Python.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related professional role.
  • 3+ years working directly with Sales, Operations, Product, or equivalent business teams.
  • Fluency in SQL, including CTEs, window functions, and joins across large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting, including Pandas and NumPy.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker, Hex, or Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate data into business insights and work with stakeholders across functions and levels of technical fluency.
  • Experience using generative AI and LLM-based tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for analysis, reporting automation, and self-service data tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
  • Exposure to Airflow or other data pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or payments.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hybrid work environment with a minimum of three coordinated days per week in the São Paulo office: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
