Operations Business Analyst
The Business Analyst owns operational reporting and strategic analysis for Technical Services, partnering with Finance, Analytics, and other teams to identify trends and deliver actionable recommendations. The role requires 5+ years of analytics experience, Python or SQL proficiency, Salesforce reporting, and Tableau dashboard expertise.

Responsibilities
- Own recurring business reporting cadences and deliver timely reporting materials for leadership reviews, performance reporting, and operational planning.
- Review data for trends, anomalies, open questions, and opportunities for deeper analysis.
- Analyze Technical Services processes, service performance, pricing models, deal structures, financial forecasts, and capacity.
- Partner with Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, documented data.
- Consult with stakeholders on measurement and reporting needs; design and build self-service dashboards.
- Translate analyses into concise narratives, recommendations, and reporting for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Balance recurring reporting with strategic and ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on analytics and business reporting experience, or 3+ years with an MBA or equivalent degree.
- Experience supporting customer-facing organizations, ideally in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
- Proficiency cleaning, transforming, blending, querying, and analyzing data with Python and/or SQL.
- Understanding of sales and services processes and business performance analysis.
- Experience reporting on Salesforce data.
- Experience creating automated stakeholder self-service dashboards in Tableau.
- Experience presenting to senior or executive leadership.
- Ability to identify data signals, trends, anomalies, and actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and data stories.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, tradeoffs, workload, and deadlines.
