Responsibilities
- Own the vision and strategy for an AI-powered freight operating system across operational workflows, from exception handling through end-to-end task automation.
- Identify high-leverage workflows, sequence investments, design AI and automation solutions, and reduce manual work while improving accuracy and speed.
- Tie initiatives to measurable outcomes including cost savings, operator productivity, cycle time, error reduction, and margin; define metrics, instrument them, and own domain-level business outcomes.
- Map and redesign operational processes before automating them, and influence operations and commercial stakeholders to adopt a leaner operating model.
- Own the domain end to end, from discovery and process diagnosis through launch, adoption, and iteration.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Operations, Commercial, and regional leaders to align priorities and translate complex logistics workflows into cohesive automated systems.
- Build metrics frameworks connecting automation rates, operator adoption, product health, and business outcomes.
- Represent the domain in leadership forums and influence resource allocation and strategic direction.
- Mentor product managers and improve practices for specifications, prioritization, communication, trade-offs, and delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Experience owning a product domain across multiple teams.
- Track record of delivering quantifiable business impact, such as cost reduction, automation, or throughput gains.
- Operational process engineering and consulting ability, including diagnosing processes, redesigning them, and influencing stakeholders to adopt new operating models.
- Experience building automation, workflow, or AI-powered products that replace or substantially reduce manual effort.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to build metrics frameworks, write queries, and use data to resolve debates.
- SQL proficiency.
- Track record of shipping intuitive user experiences in complex, data-dense, multi-step workflows.
- Experience aligning Engineering, Design, Operations, and Commercial teams around shared roadmaps.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including framing trade-offs and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience mentoring or leading product managers.
