About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and enable a team of ~10 Enterprise Account Executives to hit quota and revenue targets while creating world-class customer experience in Private Equity ecosystem.
  • Drive holistic GTM motion integrating Marketing, Channel, and Sales to increase ARR and market share.
  • Foster culture of training and coaching to ramp new reps and build sales acumen and Carta value knowledge.
  • Reinforce inputs and activity metrics to enable reps to hit and exceed quota.
  • Partner with recruiting to build strong sales talent bench.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales enablement on onboarding and ramp time improvement.
  • Lead from the front: participate in active deals to drive closed-won opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experienced in private markets, especially Private Equity and Private Credit; subject matter expert in Fund Administration.
  • Track record leading quota-carrying Sales teams and personally exceeding quota.
  • 10+ years leading Sales or Business Development teams across multiple business lines and sales cycles.
  • Experience and contacts in private capital markets (lawyers, investors, bankers, accountants, GPs/LPs/Founders).
  • Strong communicator with presentation and networking skills for C-level executives.
  • Understand SaaS business model; passion for alternatives market ecosystem.

Compensation

  • Expected cash compensation (salary + commission): $400,000 - $460,000 OTE in New York and San Francisco.
