Responsibilities
- Design and implement React-based features for web applications using real-time and historical aviation data.
- Integrate, process, and visualize data from live streams and archived datasets.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers on feature design and implementation.
- Contribute to code reviews and follow frontend best practices and architectural patterns.
- Support frontend reliability and maintainability through testing and documentation.
- Contribute to reusable components and shared frontend libraries.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building user-facing web applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, state management, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with asynchronous frontend patterns and APIs or data streams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
- Attention to code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Nice-to-haves
- Passion for aviation and improving air travel efficiency and safety.
- Experience with mapping or geospatial tools such as Mapbox or Cesium.
- Exposure to live data or video streaming concepts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $135,000–$190,000 annually.
- 100% of employee medical premiums covered; 25% for dependents.
