Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with full-stack and back-end developers and UX/UI designers to enhance usability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of front-end engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with front-end development tools including Babel, Vite, Webpack, npm, and Yarn.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and experience working closely with full-stack and back-end engineers.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWTs.
- Passion for user experience, design, and building clean, engaging, intuitive interfaces.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and work effectively in unstructured settings.
- Ownership mindset and self-direction.
- Strong computer science fundamentals; a degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $160,000–$195,000 USD.
- Compensation may include base salary, variable compensation where relevant, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
