Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary data thought partner to product and business leaders across Community Support, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Drive product analytics roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery for Strategic Planning & Operations.
- Lead analytics projects end to end, including timelines, milestones, stakeholder updates, and delivery.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests, including power analysis, switchback testing, and quasi-experimental methods.
- Build scalable, reusable datasets, dashboards, data tools, metric frameworks, optimization models, and self-serve analytics portals.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and Analytics Engineering on logging, data models, and scalable analytical tools.
- Influence product, operations, policy, and risk decisions through business reviews, scorecards, and impact analyses.
- Lead machine learning model development with data science and engineering teams to automate policy enforcement decisions.
- Apply LLMs, AutoML, NLP pipelines, and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate analytical delivery.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by blending internal and external data sources.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote analytical rigor and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or Operations Research; a master's or PhD is a plus.
- Expert-level SQL, including query optimization, performance tuning, schema design, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Advanced Python proficiency, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
- Experience building and deploying end-to-end analytical models.
- Expertise in regression, time-series analysis, causal inference, forecasting, and econometric modeling.
- Expert-level experimentation and analytical framework design.
- Proficiency with machine learning techniques, NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering, and responsible AI.
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Presto, Hive, Teradata, and Spark.
- Strong data storytelling, presentation, cross-functional leadership, and senior stakeholder influence skills.
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, bias mitigation, model fairness, and data privacy.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AutoML and AI-enhanced analytical workflows.
- Experience selecting AI models while balancing complexity, interpretability, and performance.
- Experience running AI enablement sessions and identifying team-wide AI use cases.
