About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary data partner for Treatment Experience and Hinge Select leadership teams, proactively identifying opportunities (e.g., increase CV adoption, optimize Enso utilization, improve Hinge Select funnel conversion).
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 4 Data Scientists, handling performance management, career growth, and project prioritization.
- Drive Product Data Quality initiative: define metric frameworks, enforce instrumentation/taxonomy standards (Mixpanel), deliver trusted dbt data models in Databricks.
- Uplevel experimentation using Statsig: design complex experiments (e.g., CV assessments, Enso onboarding) and interpret results.
- Establish foundational data architecture for Hinge Select: solve data ingestion challenges (Postgres, 3rd-party claims, EHR data).
- Bridge technical data work and business outcomes, ensuring actionable insights aligned with OKRs.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in Data Science, Product Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years people management (or Tech Lead with mentorship).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Deep understanding of experimentation (A/B testing, causal inference) and statistical methods.
- Experience with modern data stacks: dbt, Databricks (or Snowflake/BigQuery), Airflow, BI tools (Mode, Tableau, Looker).
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical executives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Digital Health, MedTech, or Wearables (FDA-regulated devices, sensor data).
- Experience with Computer Vision or ML-driven features.
- Experience in Marketplace or Hybrid Care models.
- Familiarity with Statsig.
