Responsibilities
- Build expertise in computer vision pipelines, mobile application surfaces, and member journeys.
- Define and execute testing for new features and improvements, including acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Create and execute test plans covering unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and manual testing.
- Expand automated coverage across critical member flows and reduce manual regression effort.
- Improve and maintain test automation frameworks for reliable, fast validation and release readiness.
- Collaborate with computer vision researchers, product, design, and engineering on motion-sensitive interactive experiences.
- Lead quality practices for the Computer Vision User Experience domain.
- Architect validation plans for computer-vision capabilities and complex real-time user interactions.
- Share best practices and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- 3+ years testing end-user applications with hands-on manual and automated testing experience.
- 2+ years testing mobile applications, including React Native, native iOS, or native Android applications.
- Experience creating test plans and driving coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and manual testing.
- Ability to independently lead testing strategy and execution for complex user-facing features.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including communicating risks, coverage, and tradeoffs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building, improving, or maintaining test automation frameworks.
- 2+ years creating and executing comprehensive test plans for new product capabilities.
- 3+ years serving as a senior or lead QA partner and driving testing strategy or quality practices.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation, tooling, or debugging.
- Experience testing video games, AR/VR applications, or other real-time, motion-sensitive products.
- Experience testing computer-vision applications or features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
