Responsibilities
- Review functional requirements, user stories, and test assets from internal stakeholders.
- Build automated test cases and expand automated testing capabilities and coverage.
- Apply product-area expertise to ensure the product suite meets documented acceptance criteria and client quality expectations.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted testing strategies, including agentic workflows, to enhance quality engineering processes.
- Evaluate and champion AI/ML tools for test generation, defect prediction, intelligent test selection, flaky-test detection, risk-based prioritization, and automated root-cause analysis.
- Establish QA best practices and collaborate with scrum teams on test coverage.
- Write tests from abstract requirements and provide feedback on product performance and user experience.
- Participate in Agile SDLC activities, including grooming, retrospectives, and planning.
- Configure and verify continuous build plans in Jenkins and SonarQube.
- Maintain test assets and contribute to product documentation and release notes.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, and explain system-level application issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software quality assurance experience, ideally in financial technology or a related domain.
- Experience in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Foundational knowledge of Git and GitHub, including pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation and test workflow orchestration.
- Coded UI automation experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Python and Pytest required; working knowledge of a scripting language required.
- Experience with web service and API testing using Postman or an equivalent tool.
- Performance testing experience.
- SQL experience with MSSQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with containerized environments and deployment tooling such as Docker and Gradle.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools, including LLM-based QA tooling.
- Ability to work effectively on a small, fast-paced team and adapt as priorities change.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and continuous-learning skills.

- Monitoring and observability tools, including APM, log collection and analysis, InfluxDB, and Grafana.

- Financial technologies such as FIX, IDC, Reuters, Morningstar, or Bloomberg.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; MSCS is a plus.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $110,000–$140,000 USD.
- Benefits include company-paid medical premiums, paid time off, and other variable compensation where eligible.
