About the role
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client needs, monitoring the advisor's email and voicemail daily and responding with professionalism, clarity, and sound judgment.
Facilitate money movement, distributions, trades, and rebalancing actions, escalating when tax or planning judgment is required.
Monitor custodian alerts and action-needed items, including NIGOs and money movement issues, and drive them to resolution.
Own meeting preparation and follow-up by maintaining meeting planners and ensuring that action items are completed.
Coordinate paperwork and workflows across custodian platforms, DocuSign, and paper processes according to client preferences.
Complete Required Minimum Distributions and other deadline-driven items ahead of schedule.
Handle most client matters independently when the advisor is out of office.
Requirements
4+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management.
Experience owning the full client lifecycle within a boutique or independent advisory practice.
Strong communication skills and calm, sound judgment under pressure.
Experience with custodial platforms, trading and rebalancing tools, and CRM systems.
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to operate autonomously and make day-to-day judgment calls.
Interest in building a long-term career in client service execution rather than pursuing advising or people management.
Nice-to-Haves
Former CFP-track professional who prefers execution and client care over prospecting or advising.
Experience with 55ip, Ramp, or similar portfolio, trading, or expense platforms.
